Mugasha has been selected as a finalist in the "Online Music" category for the SXSW Accelerator program during the SXSW Interactive Festival!  The SXSW Conference is one of the biggest conferences of the year. It has three parts: Music, Film, and Interactive (i.e. Tech/Internet/Mobile/etc). The Interactive Festival goes from March 13-17 featuring talks, panels, parties, and over 10,000 attendees.

The SXSW Accelerator event allows amazing, bleeding-edge companies (just like Mugasha!) to present their latest products and services to industry experts, bloggers, mainstream media reporters, and the venture capital community. There are four categories: Online Music, Online Video, Social Networking Applications, and Innovative Web Technologies. On March 16th the finalists in each category will give a short presentation followed by a Q&A session judged by a panel of three industry experts including Guy Kawasaki of alltop.com and Garage Technology Ventures and tech journalist Brad King . The prizes haven't been announced yet, but I'm assuming there is some combination of cash, prizes, and fame!
